Palliative Care APRN Resources
We offer several programs specifically created for the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN). Our Palliative Care APRN Externship at five national locations is a five day immersion course with faculty from leading palliative care programs across the country. The goal is to provide extensive primary palliative education to enrich competency to care for patients with serious illness. Annual Assembly of Hospice and Palliative Care
The Annual Assembly of Hospice and Palliative Care, presented by HPNA and the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM), is a 3-day event that brings together more than 3,400 of your colleagues and peers to share research, clinical best practices, and practice-related guidance to advance the specialty and improve patient care. The 2020 conference will take place March 18-21 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California.
Clinical Practice Forum
Join your colleagues in this 3-day evidence-based, interactive clinical gathering to explore advancements in palliative nursing. Attendees at CPF will examine the latest best practices, advance their knowledge of caring for patients with serious illness, and network with other professionals within the hospice and palliative nursing specialty. The conference is open to all nurses seeking nursing continuing professional development and desiring to connect and engage with others sharing a passion for palliative nursing. The 2020 conference will take place September 10-12 at the Dallas/Addison Marriott Quorum in Dallas, Texas.
ELNEC is an acronym that stands for End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium . These courses provide nurses with education in palliative care, preparing them to teach the information to practicing nurses and other healthcare professionals.
