HPCC Announces Keisha Davidson, MBA, ICE-CCP, as Director of Credentialing

The Hospice and Palliative Credentialing Center (HPCC) is pleased to announce Keisha Davidson, MBA, ICE-CCP, as the new Director of Credentialing. In her role, Keisha will provide direction to HPCC’s eight credentialing programs, manage the organization’s strategic initiatives, and monitor adherence to its accreditation standards. She will also have a special focus on the HPCC candidate and certificant experience from initial certification through recertification.

“I am grateful to be able to continue the work of my predecessors to advance hospice and palliative care specialty certification, and for the opportunity to support our certificants as they care for patients with serious illness and their families,” said Davidson.

Keisha has worked for HPCC for seven years and has held a variety of positions including Certification Manager and Credentialing Programs Associate. Her prior certification experience includes positions with the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) and Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC).

“Keisha’s continued growth as a dynamic leader has been amazing to witness over her seven years with HPCC,” said Chad Reilly, senior vice president of credentialing in Health Policy. “It is easy to see that she is poised to lead HPCC toward achieving its mission of being the premier national credentialing organization that advances expert care in serious illness.”

Keisha is a current board member of the Accreditation Board of Specialty Nursing Certification (ABSNC) and a long-time member of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (I.C.E) where she serves as the chair of the I.C.E. Membership Outreach Committee. In recent years, Keisha has presented sessions on a variety of certification topics during the American Board of Nursing Specialties (ABNS) and I.C.E. Exchange conferences.

In May 2024, Keisha earned the I.C.E Certified Credentialing Professional (ICE-CCP) certification.
