The Judy Lentz Leadership Development Scholarship provides an HPNA member (CNA, RN, or APRN) with a one-year membership to HPNA, early-bird conference registration for the Annual Assembly of Hospice and Palliative Care (in person or virtual), and a special mentoring opportunity with Judy Lentz. The goal of this scholarship is to recognize leadership potential, commitment to professional growth, and the ability to contribute to the hospice and palliative care nursing field.
Eligibility:
- Member of HPNA as a CNA, RN, or APRN
- Currently working in hospice and palliative care for less than 3 years
To Apply:
Submit an online application including:
- One signed and dated letter of reference from a colleague or manager on professional letterhead
- Provide a 400-word maximum essay and address the following:
- How do you plan to continue your professional development beyond the scope of this scholarship?
- Statement of why you applied for this scholarship and how attending Annual Assembly will benefit you.
- What are your career goals or aspirations?
